“Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.”  Hebrews 13:3

To us, this verse is a cry for EMPATHY and CONSTANT, UNWAVERING, SELFLESS PRAYER!

Listening to stories of those targeted for their faith can be profoundly transformative. Through such narratives, we come to the realisation that such experiences could just as easily affect any of us. As members of the Indian Church, united in the Spirit of God, it's vital for us to not only acknowledge but deeply resonate with their trials. UNITED IN CHRIST. UNITED IN SUFFERING. UNITED IN SPIRIT. UNITED IN EMPATHY.

On this International Day of Prayer, ADF India invites the Indian Church to listen to the stories of two Christians who have were targeted because of their faith, and to join together in prayer with them as one.

Prayer Points:

  1. Pray for the Christians who have been unjustly put behind bars for practicing their faith, and are awaiting justice
  2. Pray for the Christian women who are facing threats and gross injustices because of their faith
  3. Pray for those who have faced mistreatment and violence for refusing to deny their beliefs
