Let justice flow like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!
AMOS 5:24
Persecution on the Church is as old as the Church itself. But today, it is intensifying to brutal levels. As our experts and allies stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone being persecuted for their belief, is there something you could do? What should be your response?
In a simple but powerful word – prayer.
The first Sunday of November, 7th November, 2021 will be observed as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. It is a day when Christians globally kneel before the Almighty and thank Him for the lives of the martyrs and pray for the safety and deliverance of those who are persecuted for the sake of their faith in Christ.
The theme of our Prayer event this year is JUSTICE FOR ALL, taken from the following verse:
Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
Amos 5:24
We live in a country where injustice reaches those remote places where even vehicles cannot. The weaker sections become weaker as their faith, rights and spirits are crushed and trampled upon – while their basic needs, including right to practice their faith and seek legal aid, are denied.
And therefore, we believe that making justice accessible to all is both a prayer we all need to pray and a mission we need to undertake. So, we invite you to join us for a prayer meeting to seek justice for the persecuted believers who need, yet are denied access to it.
